Hi, I made a couple of projects in tmpg express and outputted to pal 25fps since my source was pal.

I burnt to dvd using tmpg dvd author 3 and I just realized my dvd's were not in pal format but in ntsc, I ripped the .vob from the dvd and loaded in virtualdub went to framerate and it says 29.970, damn that's a dissapointment.

How do i get tmpg dvd author to burn my dvd's in the correct fps I loaded in? I thought it would auto detect and burn it correctly.

What is a better dvd authoring program, easy to use too?

So was your source PAL, or wasn't it?

  4. Did you pick PAL DVD as output format? TDA3 will re-encode if needed. If you feed it a PAL video and have the destination set as NTSC it will encode to NTSC. If you feed it PAL DVD ready video and chose PAL DVD output it will output a PAL DVD.

Your first choice after starting TDA3 is where you most likely made the mistake.

Thank you! I swear I never noticed that, I thought it was an image not an option.
