  1. i am burning on to cdr's and cdrw's, when i burn to a cdrw with nero i keep getting an error at about 12 percent and it fails, if i use cdr's it works fine but my standalone (samsung dvd-511) says no disc. if i use dvd-dub on cdr's it says the same but if i use dvd-dub on cdrw's my standalone comes up with the message "this disc cann't be played". i am useing smartripper v2.39, dvd2avi v1.76, and tempenc and vfapi to do everything and nero to burn, or just dvd-dub to do everything from a bin image, nothing works. both the cdr's and cdrw's work in my dvd-rom and my cd-rom using powerdvd and windows media player. please help

    thank you

I dont exactly know why burning to CDRW gives you an error at 12% but I do know that your player doesnt play CDRs. I wouldnt bother trying CDRs anymore unless you want some shiney new coasters. .
What kind of error message do you get? Perhaps it could be something simple like a scratched or dirty disk. Also, have you tried using different CDRWs?
