    I have a new Sima GODV CT-200FC[. I have tried every combination of settings but am only receiving a Black/White picture on the TV. Does anyone have an idea as to what I'n doing wrong. THANKS.

    My guess is that you are outputting PAL from the Sima and your TV can only handle NTSC, or you are using an s-video cable and it has a break in it.

    I have the GODVD between two DVD recorders with the second DVD feeding into the TV. I have replaced both SVHS cables and checked the Pal/NTSC switch. Still TV is only playing B/W. If I eliminate the GODVD, the TV plays color as it should.

    If this unit has an image inhancer and there is a saturation setting, try moving it to 50%. I had the same problem with my ATI card my Nvidia Video card. Just a Guess. Good luck.

    Unfortunately, it has a fixed enhancer with ifferent modes. Have tried them all to no avail.

    Stupid question, but why dub from recorder to recorder ? If you use a PC you don't get the analogue generation loss.

    If you are trying to convert between NTSC and PAL....you still need a DVD player/recorder that can output a "true" NTSC or PAL signal.

    And again - why are you going from DVD recorder to DVD recorder ?
