hi guys, i am not a techie so go easy on me. recently bought an easycap video capure device to use with my security camera so i can record on my hard drive. loaded everything up and works fine. only one thing is it uses a serious lot of hard drive space. example is evry 2 secs of recording uses 20 mb and thats it set at 1 fps. is there any way to get more recording time on my hard drive as the guy who sold it to me claims it can record for weeks. also is there any software i can get to make the camera motion sensitive so its only using space when it needs to, instead of having it record all the time.
your advice and help is very much appreciated

  2. There is probably some way to select a video (and audio?) compression codec within the supplied software.
