    I have installed VM Ware & my OEM XP home edition and everything is ok except the USB support.

    My goal:
    I want to connect my usb modem to connect on the net with this virtual machine (yeah not the host, this one)

    problem:

    When i connect my modem, Xp don't regognize it as a "new device" ,nothing so i'm stuck.


    Some help is needed vm ware's gurus

    At least you gout yours to run. I installed one of our VMware Workstation licenses on my new workstation and it went BSOD, apparently due to something wierd with the USB implementation. Which VMware app are you running?

    Not too sure about Server. Fortunately VMware support is pretty quick once you get a ticket started with them.
