Assuming you're doing this on a Mac, just unzip the .zip file (Finder will do this for you after you double-click on it), and move the .app file inside to your Applications folder. From there, you can execute it whenever you want.

I have it on my Mac, along with another burning program, but haven't actually gotten around to burning any discs yet with it.

that's what i tried, but could not locate executable, seems to me like raw source.
anyway i just need to compare features against Disc Burner or DiscBlaze, but later on dropped the idea of trying new-wares!!!!
    thanks for response!

How are you opening it (the .zip archive)? The version I downloaded (and archived) is the same one shown in your picture - SimplyBurns-build-rev428.zip. It only contains one file, SimplyBurns.app.

Are you trying to open it on a non-Mac setup?

(Note that an .app is actually a set of folders with binaries and other files within, which the Mac will treat as a single executable package. Windows and Linux systems will tend to see it more as the set of folders and files it is.)
