    hi, my source file was avi, i want to to render to mpg using TmpgEnc Express , usually my tmpgenc didn't have problem with avi files, but don't know with this files it can't render, it said " could not open the video part only the audio part can be opened " i was using tmpgenc express 4.2.3.193, FFDShow 2008-06-07 (rev. 1982) , divx6.8. need advice here

    Avi with wmv/vc1 is not that common. Can you play the avi in windows movie player without problem?

    You might have to install WMV9 VCM.

    no it can't play with media player or vlc, only open audio
    yes, want to render to mpg, authoring it to make dvd
    i want to use tmpgenc cause the files that i want to render there were 50 files so i can use batch tool
