Hello all,
I have a sort of embarrassing problem. I've ripped literally dozens of movies and never really had a hitch...except for two movies: Legally Blonde and Amadeus. Now both of these are two sided movies so I assume My issue somehow stems from that. In both cases whichever ripper I use will recognize the VOBs and begin to rip them.....then, when all is finished I only have 3/4ths of the movie. Legally Blonde is especially odd since it has 2 sets of 4 VOBs....9VOB and 10VOB...and both seem to contain the first 3/4ths of the movie. Now in Legally Blonde side two is only supposed to be extras...could the missing VOB be on that side? Would I just flip the thing over and rip that side too? Amadeus on side is supposed to be widescreen and the other (i think) pan and scan...but still, if I rip either side I only get 3/4 of the movie...HELP! Has anyone else run across this?

I found the answer to my problem and it is....fanfare please....a defective DVD. Yup, turns out the reason that I couldn't watch the end of the movie is that it was majorly jacked....end of story. Too bad really, I wanted to see little Reese jump around in celebration of her victory...jump Reese JUMP!!!!!!
