  1. Hi I'm using tmpgenc 4.0 xpress to edit an avi file, that I only want certain parts of. So I edit it all in tmpgenc 4.0 xpress, that's fine. But the file is already encoded how I want it...so I just want to output with the same settings for video and audio just with the edit included (like direct stream copy in VirtualDub). But I can't find the equivalent in tmpgenc 4.0 xpress. Anyone help?

    Cheers

TMPGEnc express is an encoder and as far as I'm aware doesn't do direct stream copy, you have to re encode to output the file you have edited. If the file is mpeg you could re edit it with the likes of video redo, womble dvd wizard,or the latest TMPGEnc mpeg editor.
