Hello!
I have a portable DVD player PDV 751. It has worked very well until yesterady.
It was plugged in the car and my kids were watchin a movie. I turned off the car and the DVD went black.
Now when I try to play a movie I get the message 'Wrong region'.
Can anyone help? Is there anything I can do myself to make it work again?

Two things come to mind...if you had to manually make the player region free (which I doubt as most portable players are not hackable), then you could simply try it again. Otherwise, it sounds like the player has failed and needs to be serviced. But if it isn't under warranty, it is likely cheaper to simply replace it.
