    Does anybody knows good program for direct capture in MPEG 2 format. I use "InterVideo WINDVD Recorder 5" and quality is good but maybe there is another program with better MPEG capture quality.

    The Mainconcept real time MPeg2 encoder module is considered among the better for quality. The cheap way to get it is in ULead Video Studio 9/10/11. Performance requires more CPU for greater compression. A P4 2.4GHz starts to "rebuffer" around 7000Kb/s. A larger CPU can compress more.
