    I have a mpeg on my hard drive that I would like to capture a still picture from. How can I do this? I have Nero 6 and ulead 4 to work with. TIA.

    I use VirtualDubMPEG2, Video -> Copy Source Frame to Clipboard. Then paste into any image editing program.

    virtualdub mod(or mpeg2) file>save image sequence(and be sure to pick ur sequence before doing anything

    To save a single image in VirtualDubMod it's easier to use Video -> Snapshot Source Frame.
