I am including some complimentary MIDI files in the ROM folder on an instructional DVD. (MIDI because the tempo can be changed, etc for those that know how to do it) I don't want to deal with questions from people asking what the MIDI files are, what to do with them etc. So I was hoping there might be some free open source cross platform simple midi editor that I could recommend so that people can easily open the MIDI files and change the tempo as they increase their skill levels.

Is there one such program?
