No thanks....I'll use the direct link provided by someone I know....like Videohelp.

SUPER is not open source, although it is free (as in free beer).
Given it is simply a front-end to open-source tools such as FFMpeg and x264, this is probably in breach of the GPL licensing conditions.
Also, see

Please don't cross post. I removed your other post.

Do yourself a favor: Don't base your opinions regarding our hobby on rumors! Test yourself and decide whatever by yourself.
Practice and Theory sometimes (on most times!) conflicts.
I know that too many helpful "theory" people gathered around, but also keep doing your own tests, don't just trust their words.
Super became a lot better the last months, but now there are conflicts with (already) messed up PCs or set ups that have installed many not necessary things. I believe that most of the problems that occur, have to do with the habit of installing codec packs.
I have only ffdshow and whatever else is necessary on my computer and I never had to deal with many of the issues I read occasionally here and there.
As I wrote before, this program is a joke that actually works. Not the best program, neither the best quality, but it does the job and you can't ask more at this price.
