Dear All,
I would be grateful if anyone could give guidance on a problem I am having with VOB files.
I have used DVDDecrypter to rip a VOB file from a DVD. The VOB file plays fine in VLC and has a file size of 1.07GB.
However on trying to convert the file to MPEG4 using ImTOO, VOB2MPG or various other converters, the file is only recognised as haing a duration of 4 seconds and containing no video or audio.
Does anyone have any ideas as to where I'm going wrong or what the problem might be??
Thanks in advance

When you say convert to MPEG4 do you mean XviD? DivX? or MPEG4 part 10 (AVC/h.264)? Try opening up your vob in virtualdubmod or avidemux
Was the DVD copy protected? I know you said it plays fine, but DVDFab or Anydvd might do a better job because dvddecrypter is outdated
