  1. i am trying to convert AVIs to M2v with CCE SP. It worked fine on my old PC, but now when I attempt to convert on my new laptop the program crashes right at the beginning each time. Anyone have a clue why this is happening?

    The program has no issues converting MP4s and MKVs, it only wipes out on AVI files.

  2. Still having problems?

    Maybe try avisynth 2.5.7; I had crashes on 2.5.8 which were fixed when I changed back.

    Are you able to open the .avs script in a media player like MPC? If not this suggests a codec problem.

    You still haven't posted mediainfo or gspot information on your AVI files as asked in the other thread

    1) Please drop Windows Media Player;

    2) Please do not upload BMPs --- use compressed formats (PNG, GIF, JPG).

  6. Your AVI is supposed to be 22min, 46sec according to mediainfo

    There is a problem because your screenshot of playing back the avs script is 10 seconds. What happens when you play the AVI file directly?

    Try avisynth 2.5.7 and see if it corrects the problem

  7. You're frameserving using an AviSynth script? If so, there's something wrong with the script, as evidenced by the 10 second playtime. Open the script in VDub(Mod) and get a real error message. Have you disabled the audio (as you should)? If you still can't figure it out, show us the script.

    Use FitCD to create your avisynth script. Takes all the guess work out of it.

    Also, I have found that CCE will simple drop off the perch if the audio is VBR MP3, even when it has been passed through avisynth. Block the audio in the avisynth script so CCE doesn't even see it.
