I have goldwave but want to change audio on a .mpg movie but goldwave dont seem to accept mpg is there a plug in for this

Try demultiplex the audio from the mpg with tmpgenc->file->mpeg tools or BatchDemux and then open in goldwave.

I have GoldWave v. 4.26 and it has no difficulty to open
MPGs, RMVBs, ASFs, AVIs, FLVs, MKVs, etc.
