For my own personal use, I would never get a combo, but this is not for me. It is for an organization that needs to be able to use both technologies. Therefore, what is a good make & model, being able to play home made DVDs well, to meet their ends? I know the individual players well, but I am not a combo man. Any suggestions for about a $100.00 combo player will be welcomed?

Any of the name brand models should work fine. Aside from any options they may require, there isn't a real reason to choose one make/model over another.
