Xilisoft DVD to Divx Convertor

I've just got a load of British TV programs on DVD from someone in the U.K. in PAL format

I've ripped the programs I want with DVDShrink.

Can someone advise me on some settings to get optimum quality when I convert them to DivX with Xilisofts DVD 2 DivX Convertor

I'd use avi.net or AutoGK. One of those (the latter mostly) is what most of us use, and can assist you with.

I have AGK now. please can you run me through a setup for good quality output

It's pretty auto(gk)matic - If quality, not file size is your mayor concern, use the target quantizer mode - the lower the number, the higher the quality.
