XPP blue screen error: csrsrv.dll. How to install from XPP CD?

Running XPP, I can't get into my system at all. I keep getting this error:

"STOP:c0000135 {unable to locate component} This application failed to start because CSRSRV.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix the problem."

I did a search and found I could boot with my XPP CD. So I changed BIOS and tried booting with my XPP CD, Recovery Console, but don't know how to use command line and/or install the csrsrv.dll from the XPP CD into the systerm32 folder. Or is it another folder I need to install it into? Can someone assist? Thanks.

Oh, and I can't get into safe boot mode either. (edit)

how'd it die is more important than the file. what was the last thing that you were doing before the no-boot. but here is the file.

Thanks for the info, aedipuss. I've decided to just do a fresh re-install, as it's been a veeery long time since the last.
