    I want to know what the best program is to convert my DVD's to H.264. I have Nero 7 and have used it, it takes a while(and it has to be in an mp4 container). I want to be able to convert DVD's to H.264 so i can play them on my Archos but also have the same file play on my LCD in full DVD quality. If anyone reccomends a program can you also provide best settings. Thanks much guys.

    Try AutoMKV or DVDFab.

    What resolutions does the Archos support? Up to 640x480?

    Ok great thanks. The Archos supports 800x480 pixels(Archos 605-160GB). This think allows me to play all videos on my LCD its nice.

    Megui would be another option but AutoMKV and DVDfab are much easier to use.
