I wanted to backup one of my DVDs to XviD using DGIndex (version 149) and AviSynth (for the video). The video part was OK. The problem were the audio files since I had ripped my own DVD with DVD Fab Decrypter, then re-authored it with DVD Shrink (I put the 3 VOB files I wanted, one after the other one - nad because DVD Fab had created a mess with all VOB files - some included part of the extras and the beginning of the main movie on the same file ).
After re-authoring the DVD, I used DGIndex to index the files and create a project which would be used on a script to AviSynth. DGIndex has an option to demux all tracks and that's what was done, but it demuxed 2 main AC-3 files. One for the main video and the other one for the extras. Question: what can I use to join these 2 AC-3 files? Thanks in advance.![]()

I usually run the joined ac3 file through ac3fix just to help ease my mind that the join went OK. -
Thanks for your help. I tried the search function - but found no responses (maybe my query was wrong) so I decided to post this topic. Sorry. I'll try your suggestion, thanks lot - let's hope the audio is not out of sync.
