Hello, First time user here. Thanks for the help in advance. I've got a Sony handcam DCR-DVD92 and I'm desperate to pull video off of it to my mac for editing. If I get the Canopus ADVC 110 converter will I be able to pull video from it? All I've got is AV cables so I figure if I can plug the AV cables into the converter I can send it via firewire to my Mac. Just wondering if anyone knows this is possible. Thanks in advance. Brian

It will and just to add it will make a nearly exact duplicate, that is at least from the one test I did feeding it an analog signal from my mini-dv cam.
Having said that why not just rip the DVD's? That's an exact copy of whats on the DVD. Can't help you with the mac software, you should request this post be moved to the Mac forum.
