I'm getting an error message in mac the ripper which says "the DVD has bad sectors, you should check playback of the dvd prior to burning". I've also had a similar message when using DVD copy. The resulting copy won't play and can't be reduced in size using DVD2one. I've tried copying 3 DVDs so far and this has happened with 2 of them, I'm guessing this is some kind of copy protection? Anyway how do I get around it?

Let me guess, since you didn't specify. You're using MTR 2.6.6 on
a fairly recent commercial DVD. That MTR hasn't been updated in
years.
Go to ripdifferent.com, join the forums, read the MTR FAQ forum and the
MTR forum, and learn about how to get the newest version (3.0r14j).Al Bloom
