I'm working with a local cable station that uses Tightrope's Cablecast, and has had multiple DVD import errors on DVD's I provide. During import, around 25-35%, it will stop with "Error: Data error (Cyclic Redundancy Check)".

They seem to have to have errors only with my discs. After review, it appears to be a compatibility issue of some type. The original HP burner in our Video PC seems to be the common thread on the errors. These same discs have no issues at 2 other cable stations that run them on players, or on any PC or consumer player I try them on. I wanted to provide some background to see if anything else may be worthwhile considering.

DVD-R Media tried: Fujifilm 8X inkjet printable, TDK, and most recently Taiyo Yuden 8X inkjet printable (premium line).
Authoring Tool: Sony DVD Architect 3.0
    Burners:
"HP" DVD Writer 640b FW223, ATAPI
    "LG" HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GSA-H10L FW LL12 ATAPI

The cable station's PC's are using Pioneer DVR-111D drives. I plan to swap the HP burner with a Pioneer to eliminate any future issues. Are there other items I should be checking?

    thank you

Sounds like typical burning issues which could be the result of media (bad media or media incompatibility) or fautly hardware.
