  1. Now i've done this before,but i can't remember how!.
    I want to turn off the forced subs on 2 french dvds i have,they aren't burnt on,but removeable.
    I know i did something with my remote,hack ,or changed something in the menu.
    The player is a Sont DVP-NS76H,can someone remind me please?

    Most DVD players have a subtitle button on the remote. Pushing it cycles through all of the available subtitles and off.

    And I assume you mean Sony, not Sont.
