Hello. i just recently bought a tv tuner/capture card (Leadtek DVT2000 H) and using the PVR software bundled with the card. Everything is connected ok, as i am getting audio and video.
When i use the card in TV tuner mode, the audio quality is perfect, and i can tune channels, everything works good etc.
I have connected the capture card to a VCR so i can capture from VHS source, But when switch to CVBS mode the audio quality is horrible. It is not the tape as the audio quality is far better if i play the tape using through the TV.
I have tried other software (amcap) with same problems. Is it just the nature of composite connection that this would hapen?

Composite doesn't contain audio. You should have seperate audio (RCA red/white) cables connected for the audio.
