    I've been trying to install mIRC on my computer, after I did a System restore, however, when it loads up it shuts down, I've tried on my otrher computer, and it works, so I know the exe is not corupted.

    Can anyone give me any suggestions to why this is happeneing ?

    I'm unable to find a log of it's actions so I can identify the problem, but can't seem to find it anywhere.

    I've looked at the Error Report that it creates but seems to look like jargor.

    Please advise.

    I'd start with the software's community.

    Post the error report.

    I've seen many cases where the developers "haunt" the support forums, and solve many problems - some where they didn't (i.e. HP)
