Making a Video CD for PC playing

    Hello

I have a customer who wants to send out a VIDEO that can be automatically played when they are put into PC's.
I normally provide DVDs and Flash video for web so this is a bit new to me and i want to find the best method.

So it needs to be PC compatible (mac too if poss but not essential) and I want the video to be as high res as possible. I think i need to make a cd rom but want to know what format is the best to encode in.

I use Final cut pro and will be exporting from it to compressor to encode the file.

Also would you embed the video into something for the autoplay.Eg an html page? Or should it open into windows media player?

    Thanks
    Holly

For Windows only, encode to wmv, and set up autorun.inf to start the video.
For those wise enough to disable autoplay, there's no way to do it.
