I bought a karaoke vcd and it says to select the right channel of audio on your dvd player but i just want to rip the audio without the vocals. Do I have to select something in vcd gear

I thought karaoke cd's had no vocals to begin with - I've never tried one, but I assumed...
If the vocals are in the left channel, you can rip the audio to wav and edit it in Cool Edit or a similar program. Just cut and paste the non-vocal channel over the vocal one.
