Karoake CD can mean a number of different things - CD+G, VCD, Enhanced CD, or some Non-standard format.

Look up what your disc is, and look up these terms, also look up some of my past posts on the subject, and tell us more about WHAT you've got, then we can give you some answers (e.g.: if it's #1 you have to use some specialized and out-of-date tools, if #2 you just convert to DVD or other format with lots of tools available here...)

    Welcome slayer_of_all

Think this should get you screaming along

    CD+G > burn > cdrwin

    KaraFun
    Karall

    audiograbber now supports CD+G ripping

Burner supporting CD+G / dao96 ... if in doubt use imgburn and check drives capabilities

Forum link with more info here on vcd / dvd ... dealing with video

Alcohol 120% better at burning than nero when it comes to karaoke disc burning

May sometime be included in imgburn as possible future feature

or mp3+gToolz ... explains the other associated required files ... outcome is a bin image

Might include AV Video Karaoke Maker

In the mean time there's DART Karaoke Studio CD+G 1.4.9cdgp ... 30 day trial

The eagles karaoke dvd is simply vocals squashed and text overlayed which is colored to indicate singing position and style ... pretty crappy job

Alcohol 120% should be straight forward

    Basic image burn guide here

If using those tools which produce a bin image then imgburn can handle that

I downloaded songs on Itunes and they are mp4a. If I want to create a karaoke of these songs with lyrics on screen, etc. what do I need? Is there any freeware or not-to-expensive software for this? Thanks! I am computer savvy, but don't know much about this stuff!
