I Right clicked on video clips on my hard disc and then clicked send to CD-R and then open cd-rom and clicked write these files to CD. All files now could be played on computer's CD drive but not on dvd player.
I used nero--to burn a video cd but the CD burnt contained different folders onlly and nothing could be palyed even on Computer's CD drive.
Can someone tell me a method by which CD can be played on DVD player too? thanks

video on cd - you need to be more specific. there are many formats that can play on some dvd players. divx, vcd, svcd, miniDVD, etc. you need to find out what your player can handle first.

the disc created by nero was probably vcd.

there is not much chance of a cd playing if you right click and copy to.

    You have two choices.

1, Convert to the VCD standard format. This is a low resolution, low bitrate video format compatible with most (all ?) DVD players. You can fit 74 - 80 minutes per disc. Nero can do this for you.

    2. If you have a Divx certified or mpeg4 capable player, and your video clips are Divx/Xvid encoded in the avi or Divx container, you can burn these to a CD as data, and they will be playable using the basic menu built into the player.
