Problwm with connecting to ftp using linksys router

last monday i could be able to connect to my friends ftp. Since last tuesday i am unable to connect my friends ftp. It keeps coming up with list error. The Port from her aint wrong. So i don't know what would be causing this error. Im using the ftp program flashfxp 3.4 build 1145. I haven't changed nothing on my router. Could anyone help me out? My router name is WRT54G its wireless one.

Well i thought i fixed it. Well turns out when i tried to upload something to my friend. I got transfer error so i restarted flashfxp. Then i got list error now it wont work at all.

I try not to use ftp as I always forget the "little things" to get the darn thing working , mostly my main errors (it would announce different errors for it as well) as I recall came from using folders or filenames with spaces in them , if she has changed the folder names paerhaps ? my Amiga 20 years ago never had that problem . (just throwing straws from the little I can remember) .

addendum : as the fog fades - has she or you reset permissions or changed passwords or software firewall settings , installed any software that might possibly conflict with your ftp program .

When i asked her she told me she didnt change nothing. But i asked her to connect to someone else ftp. It connects fine. But for some reason now i cannot connect to her at all. Last night i got on by using limit port setting because when i try to connect to hers before that it kept changing the port. It wouldn't read the right port. For limit port on flashfxp. I put the of hers in the max part and i left the first box alone. But now when i tried to connect to hers no that long ago. I got list error. What could cause this? I tried both pcs. One is vista and the other one is xp.

for the other part of your question. She kept changing my password since i have my own username with her ftp but thats about it. For me nope i dont think so i havent installed nothing in lately. What would maybe conflict with it?

I`d uninstall and then reinstall flashxp first and setup password and address again from scratch .

Do you think its flashfxp? Cause i just did a factory setting on my router and i just tried to connect to my friends ftp and no luck. I updated the firmware to the router.

Ok i managed to get back on it. Some options was off on the flashfxp. But i got another error. Transfer failed. Any idea why that is coming up now. My friend told me she redid my username cause we thought that was the problem. But it wasnt. I was able to test it with my other friends ftp. And it work great i got on fine. But my other friends ftp is what i got problems. With. I got get on fine now. I just cant download or upload anything.
