For the life of me, I cannot seem to configure this after installing a Linksys N router. Arghhh!!

I know both my internal and external ip addresses, but just can't seem to tweak the program the right way.
    Any suggestions?

  2. you may have to do a port forward on the router, the ip for the router is 192.168.1.1

  3. That would be the default address, not necessarily the one it is using now.

CMD prompt, ipconfig/all, the Gateway address is the one you want.

Agree with the above, the router is almost certainly blocking the port. Port forwarding or use the DMZ.

  4. the 192.168.1.1 ip is so you can access the router to see the config page for it so you can set up the router. open your browser and put in http://192.168.1.1 you may need to to make a user name and password before the page will load.
