I have 2 mini DVD disks and I want to put parts of each on to a standard DVD disk. Which way is best to do this for best quality?

I can just plug my camera in to my Panasonic DVD burner and use the PAUSE & STOP as I play the 2 mini dvd disks from my sony handy cam using a SVHS cable. Or will I get equal or better quality if I convert my mini DVD videos in to avi or mpg and then record them on the the stand DVD disk using a computer?

..or is there an even better way?

    Thanks!

You can join and cut together the 2 dvd-video folders using for example tmpgenc dvd author or dvd shrink(no menus) without any conversion so no quality loss. See https://forum.videohelp.com/topic284279.html

Both of the mini-DVD's are made up of a few videos. Can I pick which of the videos from each of the 2 mini dvd's with both of those methods?

    Thanks
