My wife loves Jane Fondas workout, the one from the 80's. I managed to get a DVD copy off ebay. In our Sony DVD player in the living room it plays fine, If I play it on the PC it plays fine. But if I play it on our UMC tv/dvd combi it stutters.

I have tried changing the region, but it dont make any difference. I have tried copying the dvd but it is the same.

Any ideas how to over come this problem ???

make sure the max bitrate is under 10.08 Mbps (10080 kbps). a quick check with gspot of the vobs should work.

if it's over you may have to re-encode it to get it to work on all players.

Is it NTSC or PAL? Your copy should likely be PAL. It's possible your player is having issues converting NTSC to PAL.
