Ok, I took my first video with the SONY HC52 Mini DV. I downloaded the file into my computer and edited it with Pinnacle Studio and created an AVI file. It is a large file since the movie is 54 minutes long (10GB. How can I burn it on a DVD and watch it on the TV?

The option for Mpeg 2 is greyed out. Mpeg1 is checked. What's the difference...

and what does "author DVD" mean and how do I do that? As you can tell I'm really new to this

and yes it's 10.8 GB, just checked again. In AVI anyway. When I used the Mpeg option it was under a gig...

Sorry, I don't have Pinnacle Studio loaded on any of my machines. Check the manual for making (exporting to) a DVD.
