Ok, I took my first video with the SONY HC52 Mini DV. I downloaded the file into my computer and edited it with Pinnacle Studio and created an AVI file. It is a large file since the movie is 54 minutes long (10GB . How can I burn it on a DVD and watch it on the TV?

    1. Encode to DVD MPeg2 (Studio can do this)
    2. Author a DVD (Studio can do this)
    3. Burn the DVD (Studio can do this)
    4. Play the DVD in a DVD player.

    I would look into:
    Favc
    DVDFlick

However, I don't use those tools that much, so I don't know how they will handle a 10 gig file. Are you sure it is 10 Gigs, that seems rather large for a 54 minute movie.

The option for Mpeg 2 is greyed out. Mpeg1 is checked. What's the difference...

Sorry, I don't have Pinnacle Studio loaded on any of my machines. Check the manual for making (exporting to) a DVD.
