When I have mp3 music files and want to burn them on a cd (cd-type not mp3-cd) I select the option in Nero to burn "music to cd".
Than I put the music files in the order that I like them to be played in the cd player.
    This works fine.
Nero burns the files to cd in the same direction as I put them in the Nero screen.
    So no problem.

But when I want to put AC3 files to a dvd (or the same as when I put mp3's to a cd in mp3CD-Mode) I choose "ISO" mode and put the ac3 files in the burn-music-list the way I like them to be played.

SO after burning them Nero scrabled them putting them in abc ordering.

In nero I used the option "do not sort on any type".

I hope anyone knows a way for me to get these files to play the order I like.
The only thing I can come up with is putting a 0001 0002 0003 number in front of every song, wich could take a long time.
Maybe there is an other burning program that works fast and the way I like.

How have you verified the order of the data files on the disk?
Could it be the application playing back (or viewing the data disk directory) sorts it according to its own head?

I had this problem once and solved it by renaming the files 001XXXXXX 002XXXXXX 003XXXXXX Etc.

    I hope this helps.

Itunes allows you to make a play list and drag and drop any of the files in any order and then burn to mp3, but it only allows you to burn to mp3's if the file is an mp3 in itunes. I use dBpoweramp to convert non-mp3 files to mp3's. From file manager, you can right click on a file and see a "Convert To" option. It will convert all of the popular music formats

Both of these programs are free and very easy to use.

I don't quite understand what you are saying.
    I did verify writing.

I rather don't want to be numbering all the album songs befor I put them on dvd.

And iTunes only alows me to add mp3, but I want a dvd with ac3 audio files.

So, when you watch Nero write the data to disk, you see it process the files in alphabetical order?
For a data disk, I'd say that doesn't matter. Same as if you move the files between directories on your HDD - It doesn't affect play order, in which order they are copied to the new directory. The player determines in what order they are played, not in what order they where moved there.
Only if you created an Audio CD would this matter.
