Hi,
How do i make my ipod keep the music it has on it?
Because when i connect another hard disk full of music it says it cannot find the other 100 odd i put on earlier!
So how do i sort out this problem so it doesnt detect other songs that are already on the ipod and just ignores it.
It must be an option somewhere to make me manually sync it!
Cheers gooooooiys!!

On the iPod Summary page that appears in the iTunes window when you connect your iPod (or, if it's already connected as you're reading this, in the left-hand window, select LIBRARY > DEVICES > (your iPod's name) for the Summary page), make sure that the "Manually manage music" checkbox is checked.
If it isn't, then iTunes will automatically change your iPod's library to match exactly what's in iTunes' library at the moment. If those 100 songs you transferred earlier aren't in the library at that time, they'll be deleted from the iPod. That won't be the case if you have the above option checked. If cameras add ten pounds, why would people want to eat them?
