Fade subtitles in VirtualDubMod

Hello all!
I recently switched from TMPGEnc to VirtualDubMod, and I have no clue how to fadein some subtitles, cuz yeah it looks pretty lame if they just pop-up all of a sudden. So I'm adding my subtitles via video--->filters--->text sub. So is there a simple way for me to fade in some of my subtitles (just the main title so it doesn't look so lame ). Please help!
