    Hello,
    i'm newbie in area: converting DVD into divx/xvid.
    I use Total Video Converter. I click "new task" then "Rip Video" DVD.
    Then i select output format (xvid) and so on.
    If i click "convert" the application creates for every "DVD Chapter" single file.

    How to convert all this "chapters" into 1 xvid-avi file?!

    I have never used total video converter so I can't answer directly. I'm sure there is an option somewhere to output to one file. Keep looking in the options settings.

    You're alternative should be virtualdub. I believe if you go to file-append avi segment you'll be able to merge all the avi's into one file.

    Try with AutoGK or FairUse Wizard .....I too have never used TVC..... or ConvertxtoDVD is one that many prefer.....
