I have recently purchased a Dell DVD To Go PCMICA card which is the Margi one but with the Dell name on it. I installed it on my business IBM Thinkpad T60 laptop which I can play DVD's on just fine with MS Media Player to the laptop monitor.
The reason for the DVD To Go is to ba able to have the output from the DVD to a TV screen. The card is installed just fine (harware map sees it just fine and the Dell App sees the card) but there is obviously a codec issue since when I play the DVD using the Dell application the video display window does not show the video correctly and the audio is choppy.
Does any one know of a replacement codec that works with the Margi card, Dell applications for an IBM Thinkpad T60 with MS Windows XP SP2?
BTW, the DVD's should be for Region 1, United States.
Please let me know.
Bruce

I'd say you got sold a dud ... unless
A: You can reload the unit with a supported os
B: Try the win 2000 drivers for the device
C: Take it back -
