What's a good program to make DVDs with menus that isn't too complicated to use. Tried Nero Vision 4 and DVD-Lab Pro4. So something a bit more advanced than Nero Vision and less complicated than DVD-Lab. Thanks!

Use DVD ReBuilder Pro and it will do it all for you and all you have to do is tell it what you want. Movie and menu's, movie only, full disk etc. You will need an encoder ( I use CCE Basic - $60) The program asks for a 29.95 donation for the Pro Version but also has a free version (without all the features). You should be able to access the website on this sites download page for more info. I use these programs for my personal backups along with VOB Blanker with perfect results everytime.

Although DVD Rebuilder is certainly an excellent program, I think the original poster is looking for something that can create new menus and this is not what DVD Rebuilder does. DVD Rebuilder is a program used to shrink dual layer DVDs to single layer size. It does not create new menus for new content. TMPGenc DVD Author is probably a good choice for a newbie.

    Welcome Jinzo

Nero Vision is pretty well stuck with basic inclusions for templates .

DVD-Lab allows more le-way , but can be daunting to newbies to figure .

If you want a release , without to much to learn , then basic kit would form the basis of

    Dvdauthorgui - multi - level menu's , multiple titles , chapter points , audio , subtitles , basic authoring
The gimp - menu background design
Imgburn - for burning of title after authoring

    Add :

Dvdshrink - in case output is over 4.3gig for sl media .
Pgcedit - later , best for fast correction of navigational error's , import menu for title without .
Visualsubsync - subtitle realignment , author new .
    Besweet - audio conversion

With these few tool's , you can do almost anything .

I'd go with TMPGEnc DVD Author version 1.6 or 1.7, before it became bloated.

Amen. 1.6 is still good enough for me. ...and when I want to do something more elaborate, DVD-Lab Pro is my tool par preferance.
