  1. I set the video to direct stream copy and audio stream (single) to full processing.

This is to try to convert AVI with DivX/ogg to AVI with DivX/MP3.

However, Save AVI leads to video only file without any audio, no matter what audio compression I choose -- incl. PCM.

    Save OGM also saves audio.

Any way to get around this problem?

    Thanks!

  2. Confirmed.
VirdualDubMod can't save OGG Vorbis to AVI container.
And... can't recompress OGG Vorbis to other audio and save to AVI container (with OGG Vorbis ACM Codec).

Maybe try other software - example: SUPER or MediaCoder?

I learned about that problem just a while back. In VDM, save out the Ogg audio as a WAV with full processing, then add it back in and disable or delete the Ogg track. Select your audio compression, MP3 or whatever. Now save the audio, full processing, and the video with direct stream copy to a new muxed file. It appears VDM can't both decode the Ogg and encode it to MP3 on the fly. It takes the extra WAV step.
