    hi i want to convert .hddvd.x264. to mpeg4 to play on my ps3 or wmv without losing quailty to use on 360 i just have fresh installed window and all my codec are gone now i have3 tryed ps3 video 9 but i lose quality and when i try ps3 converter 3 it fails as soons i put in mkv file in it .
    it didnt did this before maybe i havent installed the right codec or am missing some can any 1 help me so when i have got hd mkv file to convert to mpeg4 without loss of quatily and what is the best or right codec to install for ps3 coverter 3

    I suggest going to the forums at http://www.doom9.net. One of the forums there has an ongoing discussion about converting HD-DVD rips to WMV. It's fairly complicated and if you are a newbie, it may not be very easy for you. If you are looking for a one click solution, at this time there isn't one.

    thanks for the help been on doom site and im am currently changing container to mp4 witout encoding cheers

    Keep in mind that they both only support upto HP 4.1 so the file may not play. Also I believe that they only support 2 channel audio for mp4.
