    I converted a DVD to AVI using the following tools: DVD Decripter, DGIndex, VFAPI Reader, and VirtualDubMod using XviD codac and AC3 filters. The avi plays fine with good audio on my PC. When I copy it to my Pocketdish The video plays great but there is no audio. Other avi's (came with the Pocketdish) have no problem with the audio. The Pockedish manual says that it is compatable with DivX/XviD codacs.

    Has anyone run across this problem? Do I need to configure the AC3 filters differently before demuxing the audio?

    I can't believe i figured this out.

    Download AVI Audio decompresser. It works!

    You probably have to convert the audio from AC3 to MP3.
