Hi. A friend of mine sent me this link for vlite.net. It suppose to eliminate all those componets Visa has and make it faster. Just curious, has anyone tried this. I want to know since I'm going to reformat my pc (I do it every 6 months or so). Thanks

This is an update of nLite (for XP and 2k).
See the msfn forum for discussion of this. -
nLite works quite well for XP and 2K, and I suspect vLite should work equally well for Vista.

I have used the XP version (nlite) for my installs for years now, & it really works well getting rid of unwanted/never used parts of the OS. Before dabbling, it's important to check out the vlite forum to understand exactly what it does & what stuff you can & cannot/shouldn't remove.
