I have an avi with an srt file that I have converted to a mpeg for dvd. I want to import it to dvd author. When I do this the file loads fine and so does the srt file but has all the tags with the font and color. I just want the words not the tags. How do I fix this.![]()

Use subtitle workshop to search and replace the tags that you want to omit.
I don't know of any way to do it any faster or easier. -
Do i have to edit each line manually?Theres only 800 n sumthin.I'm new at the subtitle thing

You only have to edit each instance of the tag or phrase you want replaced if you replace all in the search and replace.
If I replace the italics tag, I have to seperately replace the beginning and ending tag. There could be 200 instances of each. Copy and past the tag into the find or search box and leave the replace box empty.
It depends on how many different phrases you want to replace. It won't take long at all.
