    Previewing segments with cuttermaran gives this error:

    ClassFactory cannot supply requested class.
    Is codec missing?

    That's the message. What do I do?

    Thanks.

    EDIT: The pre-edited file reads okay - just the previewed clips are a problem.

    It must be .net 1.1 SP1 -> See this page : http://www.cuttermaran.de/site/294/default.aspx

    Otherwise, visit their support forums.

    Well, I'm completely confused.

    Doesn't .net 1.1 SP1 = .net framework 1.1 service pack 1?

    I downloaded it from their link, and WIN GEN ADV confirmed authentic windows d'load.

    Their support forums don't translate; only the home page.

    Does anybody have a clue?

    Do you have an mpeg2 decoder installed ? Usually they come with PowerDVD or WinDVD or similar. If you normally play back DVD material with Media Player Classic or VLC then you might nopt have the right codecs installed because these two use their own built-in codecs not accessible to other apps.

    You could try Dscaler MPEG Filters

    It was mpeg2 decoder. (Not being there.)

    I got the editor down pat.

    I still got the de-multiplexor problem...
