Hi
How to author cellphone videos in a low resolution (176x144) to appear in dvd mode with their real size and keeping their quality. Everytime when i've authored them in dvd mode, they became largest and is almost impossible to identify the video( too much pixels).sincerely. sid![]()

You can use tmpgenc plus and use the settings->advanced options to add black borders(set to custom size and set it to the size of the avi). And you can also use a low resolution like 352x240/288(it is dvd compatible). Use the file->preview to check how it looks like. -

Virtualdub's resize filter can add borders without resizing the original. You can then frameserve to an mpeg encoder to get a DVD compliant file for authoring.

I've follow the solutions given and it functions perfect with virtualdub's. With tmpgenc plus i was not able to find the directions given. so i cant say if its ok or not. thanks too much.
